shine on

rimmel is a brand that i don't think i actually like, but when i look through my stash i realise i actually have a lot from there, and they're actually some of my favourite products, weird haha.

today i'm wearing rimmel's vinyl gloss in "pin up", or shade 190. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. also love the name of it :). it's described as a "voluptuously shiny lipgloss" and, as you can probably tell from the title of this post, i definitely agree with that statement! it's one of the shiniest lipgloss i've ever came across, it doesn't feel even the slightest bit sticky and it weirdly feels like it's moisturising my lips. the colour is also really pigmented, this is definitely one of my better purchases!

the colour is actually pinker in real life but the pictures give a fair idea of what it looks like. think it may be on its way to becoming my favourite lipgloss. i picked this up in my local chemist for £4.99 i thinkkkk, i assume it'll be available from anywhere that sells rimmel :)

no7 liplicious in marshmallow

i own three n07 liplicious lipglosses, and i've never actually bought one. people just seem to love buying me no7 giftsets for some unknown reason, not that i'm complaining! the shade i'm wearing today is "marshmallow" and i love it. mine is only a 5ml one because obviously it's part of a set, but one the website there's a 12ml one for £10. because they're different sizes, i'm not sure whether they'll both have the same applicator type thing, so sorry if they haven't. try and ignore my naked nails in the picture..

i'm not sure you can see clearly, but it's one of the lipglosses when you have to squeeze the tube then a little blob of lipgloss sits on the top and you can either smudge it on with the tube, or put it on your fingers then on. i wouldn't recommend using a lipbrush because it's obviously very sticky haha.

this is how it looks in the tube..

and this is how it looks on..

i love the shade, it's so pretty! it smells delicious too, i wouldn't say it smells of marshmallow though. it really smells so nice it'll have you licking your lips when you're hungry, ha. it's not overly sticky and it lasts fairly well, but there is quite a bit of transfer if you eat/kiss for example. i don't think i'd actually pay £10 for it, but that's just because i'm not a big lipgloss person. overall though, i'm more positive than negative about this lipgloss!

korres cherry lipgloss

just curious, does anyone actually know how to pronounce "korres"? i'm torn between "cores", as in apple cores, or "core-ez". anyway, i LOVE korres' cherry lipglosses, they smell delicious! like cherry, obviously.. the smell is really strong when you first put it on, but it wears off after a while and then you just get a whiff of it every now and then. it smells so strong because there's cherry oil in there, which "hydrates the lips", i think it really works. there's also vitamins C and E for "antioxidant protection." it feels like a pretty lipbalm, not a lipgloss.
that's "beige pink" ignore the shape of my lips, they look quite disfigured haha). i wore it to school today and it didn't dry out my lips or anything. it's been a really windy day but the lipgloss seems to repel my hair instead of sticking to it. i'm trying to think of something bad to say but there really isn't anything i can think of! unless you don't like the smell of cherries haha, that's probably not something you'd want. you can buy them on the korres website, i got mine in the actual korres shop for £15, so it should be about the same amount on the website :)
